SWATCHES // BH Cosmetics x Shaaanxo Eyeshadow & Lipstick Palette

All hail , queen 'Shaaanxo' as the New Zealand beauty guru announces her eye shadow and lipstick creation, in collaboration with BH Cosmetics. Congrats girl!

Now, I know it has been a while since the palette was first released, but I am a huge fan of Shannon's and I know I'm not the only one out there - so why not give this amazing collab the shout out it deserves? And, I thought I would give a little bit of an insight for those who are still thinking of purchasing it, or have not yet heard of it. When I first heard about the palette, I was so excited to get my hands on it. But, I was even more excited for Shannon - for anyone to partner with a brand and make something their own , is a huge deal! I just have to congratulate Shannon, for all of the hard work she puts into her videos (main and vlog channel), her company - xo beauty (which includes, makeup brushes and eyelashes just to name a few), her social media and to top it off, a makeup collaboration. Is it weird to say that I'm proud of her? Because I am! 

HAUL // Luxola

Now for those of you who are not yet aware – Luxola.com (now known as Sephora.com.au) was a Singaporean website that stocked a wide variety of beauty products, ranging from makeup, skincare, and hair and nail products. They ship to Australia for a small fee, but do offer free shipping over $55.00 (which isn’t very hard to spend, when you see the awesome brands they stock). Luxola constantly ran sales and great deals, whilst also offering samples which is a great incentive. And, I admit it I got lured in by the AMAZING ‘proposition’ Luxola was offering at the time of my purchase. Basically if you spent over so much, you received a free ‘Luxola Beauty Kit’ as well as your chosen 3 samples. So, I got on it, straight away (I’m a sucker for freebies! Lol).

SWATCHES // Chi Chi Eyeshadow Palettes

Chi Chi is probably one of my favourite drug-store brands and over some time now, I have collated a collection of their products - including their amazing eye-shadow palettes. I don't have all of them , but I thought I would provide some swatches of the ones I do own. I would definitely recommend swatching them at your local Target or Myer, or even purchasing one. They are extremely pigmented and easy to blend - especially for beginners or those looking for a cheaper alternative to the high end brands.
