Ok, let me just start off by saying, this was way harder than I had anticipated.. and by no means am I a fashion critic, I am simply giving my own personal opinion (as your average gal).

Based on last year's red carpet looks, I was very excited to see what was installed for 2018's Met Gala. And boy, did it deliver.

A fundraising event for the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the night represents the grand opening for the Costume Institute's annual fashion exhibit. Favourite couple, obviously goes to Mr and Mrs Kanye West ! I don’t think these two could ever do wrong- weather that be individually or collectively. Kim’s red carpet look was a knockout piece, it defiantly stood out and she definitely turned heads. In a sparkling Jean Paul Gaultier gown, she rocked her newly short do, with a statement side part. And as per usual, makeup is on point and so is that cleavage ;) As for Kanye’s look, it was a more subtle statement - wearing an all-black Balmain velvet suit, with some grey cowboy-like boots. But, in my own personal opinion, the two are just pushing fashion limits, whilst really setting the standards in today’s culture. Can’t wait to see their next look...
