WISHLISTS // Priceline's Haircare Sale

๐Ÿ’‡

Hey guys, so if you don't already know Priceline currently have a MASSIVE sale on hair products.. I unfortunately won't be making any purchases this time round (due to a newfound love of 'budgeting' ๐Ÿ˜‚), but I thought I would share with you what would be on my 'to-try' wish list. So check out the pics & links below, and let me know if you have tried any of these products and what you would recommend.

Maui Moisture Thicken + Restore Bamboo Fibre Shampoo & Conditioner.

The last time I was in a Priceline store, I saw a fair bit of advertising on the Maui Moisture range, and was very intrigued to say the least. My interest stemmed from one of their many selling points - a vegan product. I am not vegan myself (side note: I am vegetarian), although I do prefer using vegan products as much as I can, especially when it comes to my face and body. I don't currently use or own a vegan shampoo and conditioner duo, but I was never really aware that there was such a thing - hence my interest. They have quite a range, shampoo and conditioners with qualities scaling from hydration, moisturizing, strengthening and healing, as well as mists and hair masks. Plus, I'm a sucker for cute packaging. From a sea of sleek and modern hair care products, I think the organic design is definitely a unique and eye catching feature. Love it, can't wait to see if these guys live up to the stuff I'm currently using.

Sukin Volumising Shampoo & Conditioner

Similar to the Maui Moisture products, my main interest in the Sukin hair care duo is for it's vegan and volumising qualities. I already use a number of Sukin skincare products, which I absolutely love and would swear by. I'm just very interested in how vegan shampoo & conditioner differs from the standard. Will it still be as cleansing? Will it leave my hair oily? Will I need to wash my hair more regularly? Will a vegan 'volumising' shampoo actually give me some volume? There are always these types of questions when purchasing/trying a vegan product, but none the less, still curious and excited to eventually buy and try.

2 reasons for wanting to test this product.. 1) Kardashian Beauty? NOT obsessed, just a supporter ๐Ÿ˜‰ I have never tried any of their hair products before, and at such a discounted price it's the perfect opportunity. 2) Something I lack, is volume in my hair. I once watched Chloe Morello use a foam and powder to add texture and volume to her hair, (of course she made it look so effortless) and I have been interested ever since. I'm not quite sure if I have much hair styling experience, or if it will work, but there's no harm in trying.

*see above description*
Jokes.. but seriously, I have the exact same reasoning behind wanting to try this product - to see if I can make my flat ass hair, be something that it's not. And maybe if I fail at using the Kardashian Beauty Foam, I will have better luck in this Toni & Guy Mousse. The theory behind wanting to purchase two similar products for the same reason, is for comparison.. which one is easier to use? Which one works? Is there one that works better than the other? Different textures, different scents, different processes.. all of these factors can affect the experience a consumer has. So, for someone like me who has never used a product/s like this before and not having much of a hair styling 'eye', being able to use and compare the two is helpful and assists me in finding a product that I do like, that will work and that I can use. Basically, I just want to see how different they are and if I actually have the capability to do something as simple as massaging a foam in the roots of my hair and making it look good.

This brush would be in my shopping basket purely because of it's sale price. I own this hairbrush already, and have been through 2 so far and when it's on sale for half price, you jump at the opportunity to grab a back up (or two).

Bobby pins would simply be a repurchase, can never have enough and as I've said before.. "A sale causes for backups!"

The kink-free spirals are a recent craze that every girl has tried.. except ME! A bit late to the band wagon, but still want to try and see if they actually work. I've never understood the theory behind them, but interested none the less. Not quite sure if my OCD ass will appreciate the 'spiral' look, or if I would prefer to stick with a the standard 'neat' hair tie, but I'm sure I can put my differences aside. And like bobby pins, you can never have enough hair ties, especially when they also go mysteriously missing. What is it with hair ties and bobby pins?

Final product in my hypothetical 'shopping basket', is a hair mask (masque?). I will be totally honest with you, my hair is one of a few things, that I tend to neglect. Look don't get me wrong, I wash and condition my hair, but that is all the maintenance I do. Call me lazy or.. lazier? It's just not something I think about alot, hence why I would purchase a mask so I can aspire towards healthier hair habits. I just need to treat my hair, like I do my skin - which is on a regular basis. Anyone else find themselves focusing on one aspect of your body and neglecting another? Maybe you're an avid 'lazy shaver'? We all do it girl, relax (that's what I tell myself anyways?)

Anyways, hope you all enjoyed my little wish list. I'm sure to purchase these products over time, and when I do, I will be posting an update/review. As for the sale, it finishes tomorrow (29.03), so get online, or go for a little late night shopping and stock up! Let me know how your purchases go, if you're repurchasing or first time triers, I would love to hear from you.
