WISHLIST // 5 Products I wished I owned

Hello guys, so today I bring to you my 'most wanted' make-up products  – generally these are things that I have had my eye on for a while now and just haven’t gotten around to swatching/buying. Now, I had to cut it down to 5 products with a special guest product, only because I basically want anything and everything and this post would've went on for ever if I mentioned every single thing. So, these are my top 5 most wanted products... (in no particular order).

The POREfessional face primer by Benefit.
Who hasn't heard of or tried this product? And if you haven’t, then I'm going to assume you've been living under a rock, because this product, along with all the other products that I mention today have done some crazy rounds on YouTube. This isn't particularly a new product from Benefit, but there was a stage maybe 6-12 months ago when it was all about the ‘POREfessional Primer’. Unfortunately, I didn't pick it up while the hype was at its peak, but that doesn't stop me from still wanting it. As you may have read in previous posts, I have rather large pores – probably the size of Pluto. So anything close enough, to bring the size of my pores back down to Earth, I want to get my hands on. I do already own two primers that claim to ‘minimise pores’, which they do, but if there’s a product out there that can do an even better job, then I want to try it. So, in saying that, I should probably get my ass to a Benefit counter and give this a go.

Again, I have another ‘beauty cult’ product –Benefit’s Hoola Bronzer. I must be the only one in this entire world that doesn't have my hands on this little fella, and I sure am hearing what I'm missing out on. I've heard that this is the perfect matte, bronzing/contouring powder that suits any and every skin type – which is very interesting. And how could you go past such cute packaging? It’s pretty damn cute, if you ask me. I have plenty of shimmer and matte bronzers, I am still yet to find my Holy Grail bronzer – and maybe this is it.

Ita contouring brush by Nars.
Ok, so the Ita brush obviously isn't a ‘make-up product’, it’s more a make-up ‘tool’ – but I just had to include it. I am a huge fan of contouring and I think it looks so sophisticated and classy (when done right), but unfortunately after many attempts, I still cannot contour without looking like I've fallen in a puddle of mud *sad face*. And yes, I know the brush itself isn't going to miraculously give me the ability to contour chiselled cheekbones, but I've heard it’s a great start for beginners – too bad the price isn't (hence why it’s on my wish list and not already a part of my make-up collection). I know and have heard of a couple of cheaper dupes (MAC, Artiste, Sigma) , which I think I will try out first, before spending ALOT of money on a brush that may not even work for me. But it will remain on my wish list! *Hint Hint*

Yet again, another ‘well-known’ product – theBalm’s Mary-Lou Manizer. 2014, was probably the year of the highlight, when everyone was packing on their highlight for that ‘glow from within’. And theBalm just hit the spot. Everyone who’s anyone had their hands on this, beauty gurus were raving about it and it was just the ‘it’ product for a while. I've never seen the actual product in person (unfortunately), but it looks like the perfect champagne, skin coloured highlight that could be used naturally or for that extreme radiance that cannot go unnoticed.

Velvet Teddy lipstick by MAC.
And last but not least.. *drum roll please*, the very famous, MAC’s Velvet Teddy lipstick. Firstly, I don’t own any high end lipsticks, so MAC would definitely be my first preference – obviously just for the name and the packaging?! But secondly, I have been doing crazy rounds trying to hunt down a drug store dupe for the famous ‘Kylie Jenner’ colour and it’s probably safe to say, I haven’t found it. Hence why I just want the real thing. In all honesty, I'm not quite sure if the colour would even suit me and my skin tone, but like I said before, its MAC? Every girl needs something to splurge on right?

Special entry product!

And my special entry is… Make-up Geek’s FoiledEye shadows!! Obviously being a make-up lover/hoarder, there were plenty more things that could have been added to this ‘most wanted’ list and I chose all of the ‘older’ beauty cult products, that I'm a little late to the bandwagon. But these Make-up Geek eye shadows, are something a little new and recently praised about and I just really wanted to share their beauty ;) The thing or person who really opened my eyes to these little jewels, is Jaclyn Hill. OMG! She absolutely owns these foiled eye shadows and makes them look absolutely flawless. You have to have to check out some swatches of these shadows, because they literally look like they are foiled or have foil in their formula (obviously, fairly self-explanatory by their name) and it’s nothing like I've ever seen before – especially on the eye. Check out Jaclyn’s video and you will understand why I want these shadows so badly.
