HAUL // Priceline Cosmetics Sale

As some or, all of you may know, Priceline recently had a sale - a 40% off all cosmetics sale. And of course, I attended - two different stores in fact! Too me, 40% is so close to half price, so I jumped at the opportunity to grab some things that I've been wanting and needing for a while now. I'd love to hear what you guys picked up and what you think of your products so far. But as for me, I thought I'd chuck it in a haul. So, let's get started..

Usually, $9.95, Brought for $5.97

First thing I gravitated towards was this Maybelline nail polish removal pot. I have seen these all of YouTube and I think it's a really cool and lazy concept - perfect for me. I always like my nails to be painted, I just tend to get a little lazy when it comes to changing colours or reapplying chipped nail polish. So, I'm really keen to see how well this nail polish remover 'pot' works. Definitely, will be reporting back.

Usually, $12.99, Brought for $7.79

I generally don't purchase shimmer blushes, only because they tend to disagree with my pores, and make them look larger then life. But! I have briefly heard that the Model's Prefer Mineral blushes and powders could be possible and potential dupes for MAC's Mineralized Skinfinish powders. Obviously, I don't own any MAC products, nor do I have enough money to purchase the lovely brand. But, I also don't see the point in paying $47 for one product that I could save and purchase other multiple products with or a cheaper alternative. So, I've opted for the cheaper alternative. I won't be using this a blush, more so a highlighter for the tops of my cheekbones and down the bridge of my nose. I'm yet to use and trial the product, but I am looking forward to it.

Usually, $16.99, Brought for $10.19

Nothing to exciting, I purchased this product for the exact same reason as the mineral blush - just looking for a new nice highlighter.

Australis has recently released some new products, this primer included and it really appealed to me. Unfortunately, I have rather large pores that tend to be very noticeable when wearing make-up, so I'm going to try absolutely any and every product that claims to minimise or fill pores. The only 'pore' product I own, is NYX's Pore Filler Primer. The Pore Filler, definitely minimises my pores, it doesn't make my face perfect and photo shop ready, but it does make a difference - which is better then nothing. In comparison to Australis, the texture of the primer is almost identical, but we will soon see weather it does, what it claims to do. But again, like all the products I've purchased I am excited to see how this product works.
*Priceline unfortunately didn't have the Australis primer on-line (they are available in-store though), therefore I linked the Australis website instead.

Usually, $11.95, Brought for $7.17

Ok, so, who doesn't own Fresh & Flawless ? Mm, I hear ya, everyone BUT me. This is the famous 'Fresh & Flawless Pressed Powder', that is constantly being raved about all over YouTube and, like everything else, I had to jump on the bandwagon and see what all the hype was about. I don't own any pressed powders at all, therefore I don't really have anything to compare it too, unfortunately. But, I do have very high expectations. Obviously, the product being brand new, I haven't yet used it, so I'm still unsure if Darkest Brown is the correct shade for me. I figured, if it isn't the right colour for me, I can easily find another alternative use for this pressed powder, or give it to someone that it may match. The only real 'con' to this product is probably the colour range. It only comes in 3 colours/shades! Yep, you heard me correctly... Three shades! Those shades being, Natural, Deep Natural and Darkest Brown. But for now, I finally have my hands on it, and I'm happy!

Ok, I probably didn't need any more blushes, but I've heard a couple of good reviews on the Blush Up blushes, and I've recently found myself really intrigued about Essence products. Essence is super affordable, and for the price you pay, the quality is pretty amazing. That being said, I want to try every single Essence product that's out there, but I do have to restrain myself and so I settled for the blush - for today, any ways ;) The blush itself has an ombre' effect, but once placed on your brush or swatched, it becomes a nice subtle, matte pastel pink. Which I think could be really nice - we will soon see.
*Priceline also didn't have the Essence Blush Up on line(although, it is available in-store). Therefore I linked the Essence website, instead.

I already own two Apocalip Lacquers, and I've had my eye on this colour - Nova for a while now and with 40%off - I snatched it right up. I love the formula of these, they're very pigmented and very easy to apply. I love them because they're between a gloss and a lipstick - you could even pair it with a lipstick for extra colour, coverage and gloss. Rimmel has also just recently, released a new rage of matte Apocalip Lacquers. I, personally am a tad sceptical to try them out, but if you're into matte finishes, I've heard they're pretty ok.

If you've read any of my previous posts, you would know that I already own 3 of the Velourlips - obviously in different shades. This shade, Doo-bai is part of the newly released colours, and I was super keen to get my hands on this lovely dark maroonie, plum colour? (I'm not the best at describing, but you can see). Definitely, think it will get it's use in winter, I can not wait. I love the colour range, the pigmentation, the application and the finish hence why I purchased the lip cream again. Looking forward to broadening my Velourlips collection.
P.S they smell amazing!

Why not buy a brush cleaner ? I've wanted to purchase one for a while now, and this was the perfect opportunity. It's a really smart concept, on spot cleaning your brushes in-between those big washes. I have read that this one in particular, doesn't smell overly satisfying, but, it was $8 ? I got nothing to loose lol.

Hope you guys liked this little haul - I've seen some pictures on Instagram and wow some girls went all out on the sale. But, I can totally understand - why not stock up while things are cheap. But any-who, let me know what you picked up from Priceline or if you've tried any of these products and what you thought of them. Can't wait to try all my new products out.
